The novels are gripping, thrilling, full of suspense, and magnificent. However, there are many short stories of Sherlock Holmes which I haven’t read and am planning to read. There are only four novels- A Study in Scarlet, The Sign of the Four, The Hound of the Baskervilles, and The Valley of Fear. So, I had to read the novels of Sherlock Holmes, and I finished reading these just a few days ago. This fictional detective is so prominent that it has made a Guinness World Record as the most portrayed literary human character in film & TV. Who doesn’t know about Sherlock Holmes, the timeless detective and one of the most well-known fictional characters? Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is considered the pioneer of detective fiction for writing such amazing stories featuring Sherlock Holmes.
